Experimenting with Daniel Smith Granulating Paints
Each page has one Daniel Smith granulating watercolour as the base. The colour is listed at the top of the image. Each colour was applied to a dry surface using a juicy brush with the primary colour. The second colour was added while the base was still wet. These were left to dry naturally. Some combinations created dynamic granulating effects, as I've noted with check marks in the corners. After each page of experimentation, I used the combinations to create abstract paintings. Click on each image to get the full page.
